Stages of Pregnancy : Classes and Resources

Pregnancy generally lasts 40 weeks and is organized into three trimesters, the first trimester comprising weeks 1-12, the second, weeks 13-26 and the third, weeks 27-40. When you are pregnant, where you are in your pregnancy is very important. In the Stages of Pregnancy section, we have organized content chronologically, so you can view only the information that is relevant to you at each stage of your pregnancy. Whether you are in your first, second or third trimester, you’ve just had your baby, or your simply beginning to think about trying to get pregnant, you’ll find the information you need here. First Trimester

In the first trimester of your pregnancy (weeks 1-12), you'll have a lot to learn. You'll need to know about such things as pregnancy tests, morning sickness, nutrition and prenatal care - all in order to prepare for the rest of your pregnancy and childbirth.

Second Trimester

The second trimester, weeks 13-26, is the middle (and often called the best time of pregnancy. It's a time you can begin looking ahead to your delivery experience and learning about breastfeeding and other matters.

Postpartum

Woman's continues to care for women after they give birth and go home. We know new mothers have a lot of questions, so our pediatric nurses can be easily reached by phone around the clock. Also, we offer several classes for new mothers, as well as fitness classes to help you get back in shape after pregnancy, yoga classes designed specifically for new mothers, and much more.
